About Us
University of Hebron UHB is a private university that was established in July 2019 by a team of academic experts in Malawi. The University opened its doors in January 2020 with two Schools: School of Business Innovation and School of Sustainable Development.
The University of Hebron was established with an intention of bridging the skills and knowledge gaps existing in university graduates ushered into the work industry by different institutions of higher learning in Malawi and also usher in a cadre of graduates who are creative and innovative for transformation.
At the helm of its training goals is the intention to develop highly skilled and talented professionals who are geared turning the 21st century challenges into opportunities by combining their skills with cutting edge technology to create wealth.
The University of Hebron’s programmes are developed from comprehensive, thorough and extensive research on: factors contributing to increased numbers on incompetent graduates entering the workforce in Malawi; backward and non-industry sensitive training curricula, methods, tools and approaches of different universities; and finally the key skills required in different professions in the job industry.
