Martha Mondiwa is a strategic leader and thinker with over 20 years in the health sector in Malawi and close to 10 years in governance and management of higher education in Malawi. Martha has served in the capacity of Acting Chief Executive Officer for National Council for Higher Education nine months; NCHE Quality Assurance Manager for Operations (4 years); Director of Monitoring and Evaluation (4 Years) and also served as Registrar & Chief Executive Officer for Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi for eight years. Martha bring substantive experience in research in Malawi (10 years). Achievements included establishment of quality assurance systems for accreditation of higher education institutions and conducted trainings for reviewers for assessment of Higher Education Institutions in Malawi. Before joining University of Hebron, Martha worked at Unicaf University Malawi as Pro-Vice Chancellor – Responsible for academic section of the University and ensuring quality delivery of programmes – mainly on line programmes.
