David Boston Kamchacha have over 20 years of teaching in and managing both public and private institutions of higher learning in Malawi. Until September, 2019 Professor David Boston Kamchacha was serving as Vice Chancellor at Pentecostal Life University – an institution which he has led from inception to becoming a premier institution of higher learning in Malawi. His scope of work included providing overall strategic managerial leadership on both the administrative and academic fronts. David has his first PhD in Strategic Management a second PhD in Economics and Development Studies. He has written and published three books (Community Organization, Introduction to Community Development and Advanced Community Development) Country experience in Malawi, Republic of South Africa, Kenya, Namibia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania and Zambia.
Prof. Kamchacha has over 30 years’ experience in managing and developing agricultural inputs and output markets – especially fertilizers. He also has over 15 years of experience in Business and Project Management. He worked as Director of Agricultural inputs and Output market development thematic areas with Food Agricultural and Natural Resource Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN). He has spearheaded the establishment of the largest rice processing factory in Southern Africa with project cost estimated US$18.5million and currently working on a sugar production project with project cost of US$300million.
